Georges Braque, Dove
Georges Braque (13 May 1882 – 31 August 1963) was a revolutionary French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. As an artist he had a strong alliance with the Fauvism movement from 1905 and was instrumental in the development of Cubism. Between 1908 and 1912, Braque's work was associated with Pablo Picasso’s, a colleague at the time. Their Cubist works were indistinguishable for many years. However, resulting of Braque’s quieter nature, his progress was eclipsed by Picasso’s fame.
